The Mexican Australian Welfare Association Inc (MAWAI) is a volunteer based charity organisation that raises funds in Australia to send to charities in Mexico. It promotes Mexican culture by celebrating traditional Mexican festivities and participating in multicultural activities, and provides Mexicans living in Australia with a support network. MAWAI supports Mision Mexico by donating all funds raised by the association directly to the refuge.
